Curious what the best time to post really is? Let us tell you, It’s not Tuesday at 9:15AM! Many people like to say there is a specific time in the day that is the “best time” to share your posts and content. Yes, there is a best time, but it is not a universal time that will provide the best results for every single page. Truth is, everyone’s best time is different and completely dependent on your individual businesses following. Therefore, there is more information to consider when choosing the best time to post for you.
There are a couple factors you need to consider. First off, when are you most active on your social media? Is it in the morning, sporadically throughout the day, or in the evening when you’re binge watching your favorite show? This will help you get a better idea of how others may be consuming social media and what hours they may be most active in their scrolling. If you are a business owner working 9-5, chances are you are not scrolling throughout the day, it’s either before or after work.
The other factor to consider is data. This is going to be the best way to gage when you should be posting on social media for your following to actually see your content at an optimal time. If you have a facebook and/or Instagram business account, then analytics and insights are provided to you through the apps! Therefore, you can go into your accounts insights, and see what days of the week your followers are most active, what times they are on, even what posts had the most impressions. Strategically looking at these insights will give you a better idea of when to schedule out your posts or even record your IGTV live.
Everyone’s accounts have unique days and times in which their following are most active. So do your own data analysis for your business and this will provide you with the most success in reaching your followers. As always, we’d love to hear from you if you are looking for a team to ramp up your social media presence! Reach out to begin telling your story!
