We wanted to share our favorite resources that make us successful in our industry so you can be successful in yours.
We love SEMrush! Have you ever had a tool that did it all? Looking at you, swiss army knife. Well, SEMrush is our swiss army knife of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – AKA the holy grail of digital marketing.
SEO is your ticket to reaching the top pages on search results. You’re going to want to use as much as possible in your content marketing strategy.
This website is an advanced resource in the digital marketing world, but a great one to be familiar with no matter what professional stage you are in. Another great SEO tool. It’s important to recognize the impact keywords have in your content. They can be the difference between landing on the first or fifth page of a google search.
Let’s say you’re posting an article about the importance of company culture in the workplace. You would type in “company culture” in Moz Keyword Explorer so it can generate the right keywords for you to include in the post. The site will pick up on trending words that will help boost your post. We love to see it.
Probably your new best friend. Google Analytics is a free service that tracks traffic on your website. Upgrades are available if you’re looking for more add ons. You can see how much time users spend on certain pages, what they are searching for, track conversions, bounce rates and more.
Another great feature of Google Analytics is their reporting section. It’ll show you trending keywords, and what areas of your website are thriving. Most importantly, the site tracks your ranking on google searching. You’ll be able to see where you land on google search results as you build out your business.
Let’s talk about visuals. Whether you have a graphic design team or not, you know the importance of aesthetic design.

A big part of digital marketing is the powerhouse called social media. Metricool is a great tool to organize your posts on mobile apps, track traffic, and more. It gives you access to see what time posts on the social media platforms you use do best. You can also schedule your posts here! Manage your business’s social growth as a whole and in individual spaces. You can see if you have a stronger presence on Twitter than on Facebook so you and your team know how to adjust accordingly. The metricool motto is “analyze, manage and grow your digital presence.”
Another great asset to this website is that it will help you generate reports of your social media engagement. It’s customizable to you and your business.
It’s no secret that having a strong social media presence is a good thing for your business. We get it, sometimes it’s hard to stay up to date on every platform’s updates and changes. In 2021 alone, over 3.96 billion people use social media, and have around 8 different social accounts. That’s a lot of people, and your ability to reach more people is a major key to success
We get that if you have a good thing going, you might not want to change your social media marketing strategy. However, in order to stay relevant, you have to keep up with ever changing updates. it’s not good enough to rely on word of mouth when it comes to media changes.
Stay ahead of the curve to make sure your social presence continues to be as flexible as the mobile apps themselves. It’s better to stay with the times than posting outdated media content. That doesn’t benefit anyone, and we would rather see you thrive!
