Case Story – Supporting In-House Marketing

Help for the internal team

Clarissa found us through a pretty long search for a marketing support team. She’d hired an offshore team to support her and her assistant but the time difference and management effort had not worked out. She knew what needed to be done but there was no way the two of them could support the size company they were asked to support.

How we partnered

The company had recently been through a few rounds of marketing and strategy sessions so there was a lot of reporting available for us to go off.  We set a weekly strategy session with Clarissa and Amy to align on goals, expectations, and KPIs and then added a bi-weekly additional meeting to listen to the leadership and key stakeholders’ needs and wants.

Where we jumped in

The internal team took care of collateral, sales slicks, events, appearances and conferences. So we got to work laying the foundation for SEO, content, search ranking and social engagement. With well-defined target demographics, a robust database of prospects, and a clear objective we were able to step in and be Clarissa and Amy’s other set of arms (and brains).

How it’s going

We have been working with the team for 14 months and the reporting the marketing team is able to present month over month to the board helps her justify more ad spend and special projects she knows will continue to move the needle.  We’re kind of her secret weapon, supporting the results she needs to achieve to be successful in her role.
