How did you hear about Digital Storyteller?

During the end of my Junior year of college, I started my job search near my hometown of Carlsbad, California. My father had mentioned to me that his colleague needed an editor/videographer for their business and Digital Storyteller turned out to be the perfect fit.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about your education or upbringing?

When I was younger my parents wouldn’t make me, more or so convince me, to try anything and everything that interested me. This gave me the ability to adapt and overcome any challenges or new circumstances that came my way and I use this to my advantage whenever I can. Thankfully I stuck with the outlets that I enjoyed most, achieving my Eagle Scout at 16, Getting the opportunity to be TVIA Vice President for my chapter, Working on 6 seasons of my high school’s television production, and 4 years of varsity lacrosse with a CIF championship. You can tell I enjoy being busy so in my free time, I try to fill it with skateboarding, snowboarding, sewing, and just anything with a camera.

What are your top 3 podcasts/ books?

Ice Cream Man – Dax Flame, High Tech Poetry – Mark Gonzales, The Nine Club with Chris Roberts

If you were to look back from the age of 80 and tell yourself anything what would it be?

If I could go back in time to tell myself anything I think it would be to take more chances, At any point in our lives, there have been things we have regretted not doing so I try to remind myself of this outlook.
